How much does an in-home personal trainer cost?

Clear, honest prices for personal training at home in Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham and North York, and what affects the cost.

Our prices

We keep pricing simple and public. One-on-one training in your home, condo gym or a nearby park starts at $85 per session. Training with a partner starts at $60 per person, and live video sessions start at $60. The first session is always free, so you can meet your trainer before paying anything.

What is included

  • A certified, insured and background-checked trainer who comes to you
  • All equipment: dumbbells, bands, mats and more
  • A plan built around your goals, health and schedule
  • Simple, realistic nutrition habits
  • A progress check every month

What changes the price

Session length. Most sessions are 45 to 60 minutes. How many people train. Partner and small-group sessions cost less per person. Format. Virtual sessions cost less than in-person visits and work well between home visits or during travel weeks.

How many sessions do you need?

Beginners usually start with 2 sessions a week for the first month to learn the movements safely, then many move to 1 or 2 sessions a week with simple homework in between. Your trainer will suggest a plan at the free first session, with no pressure to commit.

Is it worth it?

For people who feel shy at the gym, are short on time, or are returning after injury or pregnancy, the biggest cost is usually not starting at all. Training at home removes the commute, the crowd and the guesswork, which is why our clients tend to stay consistent.
